Two Launches, Twice the Fun

Turns out Making Happy Things couldn’t be contained to just one launch. So we had two.
First up was the 'soft launch' at Avid Reader. A cosy stitch-and-chat with a small but mighty crew. We came together and stitched a few hand stitching techniques you can find in the book, and the conversation wandered as freely as our stitches. A relaxed, crafty warm-up before the big one.
Then came the 'hard launch' at Vacant Assembly and it was time to party. Drinks flowing, prizes flying out the door, books selling fast thanks to the Harry Hartog team, and more laughs than I could count. The creative community really turned it on, and the energy was electric.
Two events, two moods: one slow and stitchy, one loud and sparkly, and both the perfect way to send this book out into the world.
With love,
Sue-Ching x
